sub bass..... argh! Empty sub bass..... argh!

Hello all,

Another question (I'm sure you've heard loads!) about sub bass

I've been mixing a track with my audio routed through my surround sound, simply because it has 500 watt subwoofer Cool

However I've got to the final stages and now I'm listening to the beat through my computer speakers and the sub sounds horrible. Basically I'd like to know what's going wrong with the sub bass, I mean in other songs the sub sounds beasty through a woofer and 'good' through regular speakers, not crackly.

Any help would be great
