i would advise you downlod reason 4 its been cracked for ages it can be quite overwhelming to start with if you have no experience of it but its worth it and there are shit loads of refills( new instruments) you can download for it as far as the dub-step wobble (in reason) its just a case of initialising the patch in the thor synth and setting the parameters correctly (see youtube for tutorials) i also noticed recently that people have made videos showing you how to exactly replicate the likes of benni benassi synths (lol) in reason and also some shit i like, crookers etc, generally the software is just quality and very versatile i use an axiom 25 too i dont think you need the bigger ones (more keys ) unless you gonna play proper piano shit comping(with 2 hands) etc and you can automate both surfaces the drum pads and the keyboard keys within reason i dont really use ny other functionson the keyboard but my mate with the same one has automated all the knobs and keys to different functions within ableton live which is cool as fuck im just simple and dont know how to do such things but yeah its a quality piece of kit

didnt want the 49 or 61 (?) because like you said, im only playing simple bass lines an shit. still getting used to playing keys instead of my pc keyboard

how do i set the keys to full velocity? i can do it on the pads but cant do it on the keys, an it takes quite a whack to make them play at full vol!

im really retarded when it comes to this shit i literally phone a friend when i dont kno how to do something or some fuck wit messes about with settings and i cant fix it you'll have to look it up i would personally advise you leave it i couldnt work out how to set mine back to velocity sensitive when my mate changed it lol and with the beats i was making at the time it was important to have the sensitivity of strings etc

i sorted it abit using enigma, which is the mapping software for the axiom. but it fucked it up abit. might be different in reason though!

cant get the modulation wheel to work either it just make whatever your controlling go up + up + up. i could use the wheel for wobble too. using the b1 knob to change speed of wobble at the mo. just experimenting

what you think of the pads?

in reason both wheels should work fine altho that said i have recently had a few isuuses with pitch bend in reason 4 which i cant understand but you can edit all the automation in terms of velocity pitch bend or anything post recording using the mouse to draw it on a graph on the screen the sameway that ableton allows you to maipulate the effects visually you'd be better off using an auto wah effect for the meantime if u r having problems with the wheel as far as the pads go theyr cool and that but i just draw my drum patterns on redrum
